Cross country: Another Zentmeyer-Guyton battle in county meetMon. October 20, 2014 | Andy Warrener TAMPA — Monday’s Hillsborough County cross country meet at Al Lopez Park saw some of the fastest times of the season — with a dose of controversy. The meet was originally set to take place at Lake Park in Lutz, then at Ed Radice Park, only to settle on Lopez just a couple of weeks before the race. To accommodate overflow parking, the course had to be changed the morning of the race, but Steinbrenner coach Ladd Baldwin said the course was walked with a certified wheel and it rang up as a true 5K.
